DHOBI GHAT (CLOTHESLINES), 2015-6
This installation, inspired by clotheslines around the world, brings vivid layered textiles and saturated light to an internal corridor of a Miami residence. Textures and colors of the piece also leave an impression on adjacent rooms through various portals and reflections.
Developing this project involved drawing, modeling, searching for the right silks and linens, and fabricating 12 unique panels.
Overall design of residence is by Formwork, lighting is by G2J. Views are captioned below.
