Clotheslines are symbols of civilization and labor. They hold up evidence of the people who use or wear the materials as well as those who wash and hang them. This installation emblazons a corridor with layered hanging textiles, bringing saturated light to the interior along with the tactile associations of a domestic ritual that takes place around the world.
