Bio
Leah Patgorski is a Pittsburgh-based artist who grew up in the Tidewater region of Virginia. She earned a BS in Architecture at the University of Virginia followed by an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her studio practice includes sculptures and painting-like objects, constructed of paper and textiles. She has been commissioned to make numerous site-specific pieces for commercial and residential spaces. Leah’s individual work has been exhibited regularly with venues including Union Hall in Pittsburgh, PA; Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, PA; Daphne Art Foundation in Laredo, TX; and ADDS DONNA in Chicago, IL. →CV←
Collaborations
The studio collaborates with architects, interior designers, artists, and end users to produce installations. With luck, fresh and crisp ideas will keep materializing and building on two decades of experience in creating vivid soft walls, operable partitions, and other tailored pieces.
Along with the above, Leah Patgorski also works in the design of websites and in sewing for furniture. A novel opportunity to combine digital design and tangible sculpture would be welcome.
